Sonic the Hedgehog 30th anniversary acrylic keychain

An acrylic keychain made by Sega to celebrate Sonic's 30th anniversary. It was only available for sale on Amazon Japan, it wasn't too expensive--- I bought it alongside a set of Sonic badges buttons who have two Classic Sonic badges button. It's the first item I bought for my Classic Sonic collection!

Classic Sonic japanese button pins

These pins are from a set of 6 "Japanese" Sonic the Hedgehog button pins. They are the only button pins that have Classic Sonic illustrations on them, the rest have Modern Sonic illustrations. The button pins are a bit huge, I expected them to be small lol :')

Classic Sonic 17cm plush

...Or "classic sonic flathead plushie", as I like to call it. I bought this plushie back in September 2021 (same year I took this not-so-good-looking picture) when it was on sale in SEGA SHOP UK. I was hestitaing between buying this plushie, the Cheese one and the Baby Sonic one, but ended up buying only this one. Silly fun-fact of this item: I was at school when the mailman tried to deliver it so he brought it to the postal office. The next day, my dad went there to take it but he had to pay additional fees. The fees were "so expensive" that he wanted to see the valuable item I bought that made him "spend a lot of money". So he opened the package and his face wilted of dissappointement when he saw a small plushie.

Sonic the Hedgehog 30th anniversary comic book: Deluxe edition

I ordered it on Amazon in November 2021, this is the first book written in english I own. This comic have multiple one-shot stories, my favorite is "Sonic learns how to drive"(read it if you can, it's a silly story and Classic Sonic is funny lol) I used to read this comic a lot, but at the time I'm writting this, I don't have a lot of free time to read it so I just leaf trough the pages...

Classic Sonic action figure: Collector's edition

I bought this figure as a Christmas gift because it looked cool and because I wanted to have a Sonic action figure since a while lol :') I struggled a lot to remove it from its plastic wrap without damaged it, it took me almost 10 minutes to to this--- The figure has interchangeable eyes, mouths and hands and it has a display base themed on Studiopolis Zone from Sonic Mania. This figure is the one I use for the edited pictures exposed on the "Photos Gallery" page.

Sonic the Hedgehog Classic Figure Collection #1: Classic Sonic

A figure I bought during winter break of 2021. It was a Christmas gift I bought for myself, and it was delivered waay late than the scheduled delivery date. A small booklet about Classic Sonic and Classic-era games are included with the figure. Yes, his right arm is broken because I had COVID when I recived the figure so I was feeling weak and dropped the figure on the ground when I took it out of its box...

Sonic the Hedgehog Classic Figure Collection #6: Pixel Sonic

I wasn't supposed to buy the figure at the moment I bought it, it was a sudden impulse (or an impulsive shopping, if you prefer). It's the 6th figure of Hero Collector's Sonic the Hedgehog Classic Figure Collection. It's a tiny tiny figure of Classic Sonic's idle animation sprite from Sonic 1 Mega Drive. Fortunately, I didn't broke it when I took it out of its box, I think I was very lucky! This figure -like the one above- also has a small booklet about Classic Sonic and Classic-era Sonic games.

Sonic Adventures: Dans les griffes de Robotnik

A french Sonic comic from the 90s. Sonic, Tails, Amy, Eggman and Knuckles a new echinda character appears in the comic. The story is short and enjoyable/easy to read if you can understand french, bare with Sonic saying french slang words and talking with an informal language and if you can understand what Tails is saying because he has a lisp. I love the artstyle of the comic, it's really great!

Sonic keychain

i remember buying this keychain back when I was in middle school, it's the first Classic Sonic item I have bought and I really loved it (I still love it too at the time i'm writing this) The keychain have small scratches and Sonic's mouth is a bit broken, I guess this is what happens when you accidentally drop your keys on the floor several times....

Front of the keychain:
Back of the keychain:

Sonic the Hedgehog EOLE pin

It's ugly. I feel bad for Sonic. He doesn't look okay, he makes me want to cry. Poor Sonic. A lot of people were selling this weird ugly strange awful looking pin from 2 euros to 8 euros. I bought it for 3 euros alongside another pin that I unfortunately sent back to its seller because it was a bit damaged (yes, I regret to have sent it back, thanks for asking). The only informations I found about this pin are that it was made in the 90s by a pin manufacturing company named EOLE.

Sonic keychain: SONIC SPEED

A second Classic Sonic keychain I've bought in February 2022 in addition to the item below and another item. Unfortunately, I noticed on the package that the keychain got scratches on it... That's kinda sad because the keychain is so cool... :'(

Classic Sonic mood light

I bought it with two other Classic Sonic items back in February 2022. This mood lights works with AAA batteries, not with electricity so you don't need to plug it in a power plug to turn it on. The mood light emits a soft blue light when you turn it on. I remember that I was often turning it on before sleeping until the batteries stopped to work---

Classic Sonic 28cm plush

It's a plushie I got from a claw machine when I went to a funfair during the spring break of 2022. I got it on my fisrt try, I think I was really lucky!! (...surely not.)

The art of Sonic Mania (French version)

An artbook I wanted to get since a long time. I got it alongside the holographic game box of the Nintendo Switch version of Sonic Mania Plus. There's a message written in morse code on the back cover of the artbook but unfortunately, it doesn't appear clearly on the pic I took...

Classic Sonic socks set

THANKYOUMART were selling Classic Sonic items in their Sonic-themed collection and I saw that they were selling Classic Sonic socks sets so I thought "Why not buying them for my collection? It would be nice but I want to wear them, they're cute and funny..." so I bought two of them: one for my collection and the other one for personal use. This is the silliest item I have in my collection (for now)

Back of the socks:

Classic Sonic clear multi case

Another item from my THANKYOUMART online shopping spree. It's a clear multi-case with a pixel Classic Sonic artwork on it where you can store small items in it.

Classic Sonic guitar strap

A Classic Sonic guitar strap by Perri's. It's guitar strap with a cool pattern, I'm very happy to have it because some of the gear I own for my electric guitar are Classic Sonic-themed!

Alternative pattern:

Classic Sonic pouch

The last item from my THANKYOUMART shopping spree. It's a cute blue and clear pouch with Classic Sonic illustrations and the pullers of the zipper has golden rings on it. The pouch was sad and deflated when I received it so I did my best to not make look too flat when I took pictures of it--- I wonder if I should use it to store my make-up if I end up buying and wearing make-up one day.

Classic Sonic guitar picks

A set of guitar picks I bought for my electric guitar. It took me days to find a store that still have this set in stock because it was listed as "Out of stock" or "Sold out" on almost all the digital stores I've seen listing this item.

Sonic the Hedgehog Premium 25th Anniverasry figure

One of the items from my collection that I cherish the most. A lot of people on Mercari were selling it at a cheap price and some of them were on blister. They were selling so fast that the one I wanted to buy was bought a few days after I wanted to get it... (the item was added in Mercari only since a few days...) The box is kinda damaged, the glue from the clear plastic window dried up so the window isn't glued on the box anymore (that's just a theory, I'm not a glue scientific) and the pieces of tape on the box were yellowing and hard to remove because they're so sticky--- Anyways, the figure is clean and not damaged! It's made of plastic but I'll never remove it from its box anymore because I'm extremly clumsy and unlucky so I'll unfortunately break it in a silly way :'(

Sonic the Hedgehog 20cm plush wallet keychain

Bought it a few days before buying the Sonic Generations album and artbook. It's a cute Classic Sonic plush keychain with a zip pocket on the top of his head. The pocket is too small so I don't think a lot of money can be stored there... It has a small hole on one of the quills, I have no idea of the hole was made by the seller or if it's just a manufacturing issue. If you're wondering if I hanged it on my backpack or any of my bags: No I didn't because I don't want to dirty it or damage it further and because I don't want people irl to know that I'm a Classic Sonic fan

Sonic Generations artbook: Celebrating 20 years of Sonic art

One of the items I bought during my Sonic Generations items shopping spree. I bought it alongside the Sonic Generations CD/DVD album. The seller was very nice, he gave me a discount and the items were very well protected in the delivery box. As unexpected, the artbook had a small amount of artwoks from that game in it. There's a lot of artworks of Sonic and oher characters, artworks of game boxes and pictures of soundtrack albums. I'm not disappointed that my expectations were not met; in fact, I find this funny

Official Sonic the Hedgehog 'On-Board' pin badge

This is the limited edition monthly pin that was sold in SEGA SHOP UK only on May 2023. I was hesitating to buy it because shipping fees were expensive--- It's just a pin of Classic Sonic snowboarding and the second pin in my collection that ins't a button pin.

History of the 1st Stage - Original Soundrack: White Edition

One of the many Sonic Generations soundtrack albums. This album is just a sort of compilation of BGMs from previous Sonic games. The front cover of the album is a sort of small booklet, it has informations on the tracks of the album. The album is a second-handed item, that's why the front cover artwork is damaged. Maybe I'm wrong but the name of the album's edition is a reference to the full japanese name of the home console/PC version of Sonic Generations.

History of the 1st Stage - Original Soundrack: Blue Edition

I bought this album alongside the White Edition one so this album is a second handed item too. The album is also a compilation of BGMs from previous Sonic games and the front cover is also a sort of booklet, I love the back of the front cover album, the render is so cool! I'm extremly convinced that the names of the album's editions are references of the full japanese names of the two versions of Sonic Generations.

Sonic & Nuckles: le guide ultime

The "Ultimate" Sonic & KnucklesNuckles french guidebook. In addition to having informations about the levels of the game and tips to finish the quicker or easier, it has comics about the game and its original (back in its time) gimmicks and informative pages about the characters from the game like Sonic, Knuckles, Eggman and... Amy Rose??? The guide book has few silly mistakes--- Also Knuckles is pink instead or red for some reason.

Sonic Superstars starting guide book

This guide book is one of the many Sonic Superstars items sold/given during the 2023 edition of the Tokyo Games Show. This guide book has a short one-shot comic on the game's plot and informative pages about the characters, the game modes and mechanisms. Those pages has 4-panel comic on their side. It was hard to get this guide book (in an affordable price) because people were too fast and buying them quickly. I love this guide book and it was fun reading it so I don't regret struggling rentlessly for 3 HOURS straignt just to get it!

Classic Sonic mask

Also called the "Sonic robbery mask" by the community. Like the item above, it's another Sonic Superstars item that was given during the 2023 edition of the Tokyo Games Show. The mask is very very veeery small. I tried to wear it and it wasn't fitting my head... The mask seems very fragile (I'm sure it is but I want to give it the benefit of the doubt) because of the material used to manufacture it and because of the elastic strap to help you wear the mask and hold it still on your face (if you can, lol)

Sonic Superstars - France Pre-order version (Nintendo Switch)

Here it is! Sonic Superstars! The game has a ridiculous amount of pre-order bonuses and one of them was a reversible cover. Don't get me wrong-- I love the reversible cover, it loos awesome! but I wish my country got another pre-order bonus. I pre-ordered the game 3 times at 3 different retailers because of price drops, so I ended up buying the game for 40 euros instead of ~60 euros. Since I'm very unlucky and life is so unfair with me, I recieved the game on wednesday instead of tuesday. I wish I could write a diary entry of that game, I have lots of things to say about this game...

Weekly Famitsu issue 1819

Bought this magazine just because it has a cool Classic Sonic CG illustration on it's cover. The magazine is kinda heavy and that was impressive because I've never put my hands on a heavy magazine before--- This issue has a section dedicated on informations about Sonic Superstars: Characters, Zones, How to Play/Tips, Creators comments and Development illusrations. This section is 14 pages long.

Sonic the Hedgehog keychain

After seeing bestie's pic of this keychain because they bought it for themselves, I ended up thinking about this keychain for hours and told myself "I must buy it!"... And that's what I did two weeks after. I went to a LEGO STORE to buy it and the cashier there was very kind and nice! He was a Sonic fan so we talked a bit about Sonic, the Sonic movies and he told me his favorite character is Shadow the Hedgehog! Anyways, the keychain is just a Classic Sonic LEGO. His arms and legs are articulated but not his head, thus also meaning that you can't pop it off of his body and that if you manage to pop his head off, you can't put it back anymore.

Sonic Superstars (CoroCoro Comics Manga)

Not to be confused with the manga of the Sonic Superstars Starting Guide book. This is a short manga where (from what I understand) Sonic and his friends are fighting Eggman in Bridge Island but silly events constantly happens during the fight. I remember reading that this manga is not a one-shot that ends on a cliffhanger, but the first chapter of what can become a manga series if lots of readers express their interest for this idea and their appreciation for this chapter! (I hope they did, it would be awesome to have a Classic Sonic manga series!!)

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 VHS cassette

A VHS cassete of Sonic 3. I have no idea of what the video registered in the cassette is about but I suppose it's just informations about the game and/or gameplay footage. I'm very happy to have this cassette because it's one of the Classic Sonic items I really wanted to have in my collection!

Sonic The Hedgehog Official 2024 Calendar

There are a few "Official" Sonic calendar for 2024 but this one is the only Classic Sonic calendar I've seen. At first, I tought the calendar would be tiny (which is a good thing) and that the illustrations would be "too much" because of the neon artstyle (which is a bad thing) but when I recieved it, the calendar was so large that it wasn't fitting well in my mailbox and the illustrations were cool??? The calendar is a "British calendar", meaning that it only lists british holidays besides worldwide holidays, that's a bit inconveninet since I'm not british and don't live in the United Kingdom... It has notes areas with cool pixel sprites to write stuff and a poster is given as a freebie! I didn't remove it from the calendar and I don't think I will since I'm very clumsy, I don't want to accidentally tear the poster when removing it from the calendar...

Official Sionic the Hedgehog "Be My Player 2" SEGA Collectors Coin

Another limited monthly item sold by SEGA SHOP UK. This one was sold only on February 2024. This is surely a coincidence since the catchprase wrote on the coin was used in various Valentine's Day-themed Sonic items. (Does that mean this coin is a Valentine's Day-themed Sonic item??? I have no idea...) I forgot about this coin but oredered it as soon as I remembered about it, two days before the end of February.

Sonic the Hedgehog limited edition coin

Found it out of sheer luck, it was sold at an affordable price. Silly things happened to it when the delivery service received it. At least they delivered the coin so it's not a big deal. (it absolutely is because the coin almost got stolen) It's a silver coin with Classic Sonic's face on it. Only 5000 coins were made and mine is the 2524th one. The coin is protected by an acrylic case, I didn't remove it when taking pics of the coin without its packaging and I won't remove it because I don't want to damage and dirty the coin---
